I've been a licensed cosmetologist for 28 years and also was an owner of a full-service commission salon from 1983 until 2003, where I was a stylist and managed a staff of up to 15 employees. I recieved my professional degree in 1980 and began work in Raleigh, NC, but soon moved to West Palm Beach and Fort Lauderdale, Florida. My education includes private classes with celebrity stylists Jose Eber (internationally known stylist to many celebrities), Michael O'Rourke (an inspiring visionary among the industry's elite, who continues to be the inspiration behind some of the most trendsetting and unique products in the industry today), Roy Peters (a renowned hair color innovator and educator well-known in the industry), and others.
Throughout my career, I have worked with a multitude of professional hair products and currently use Joico. My expertise is in creating a pallette of color and hair styles to compliment my clients' physical features and lifestyle. I stay current in the latest industry trends, coloring, and cutting techniques. My clients include both women and men, ranging in age from teens to seniors, some of who have remained with me for over 20 years.
